Unit 3

Lesson 1

  • In your house, have a look at the different characters in the pictures. They will change every 5 seconds. Take as many notes as you can and try to figure out the title of the unit: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _  _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (2 words, 19 letters FANTASTIC CHARACTERS)
  • Now, look at the pictures again. What are they?

-> Each house will receive 2 of the pictures and make a list of everything they see. Attributes, colours, description, emotions, ...

Then, we'll put all the words on the board and you'll have to describe them: to do so, you'll write the longest sentence you can. Careful, it needs to make sense and respect the rules of a sentence (no overuse of commas or colons)

To help you, do the worksheets below.

Once your sentence has been written, present it to the class. The best house wins.

  • Then, let's create a mind map with every word that comes to mind concerning this unit. To help you, find out what makes a character fantastic: start with categories and then offer words for the different categories.
