NEW ZEALAND - Access to Healthcare
Your presentation will have two parts: one theoretical about your topic. The second will deal with 3 different cases:
- a 12 year-old child with a broken leg and a working single mom
- a 34 year-old adult with a broken leg, a permanent job, health insurance, not a lot of money aside
- a 75 year-old elderly with a broken leg, a small pension, no spouse, no children, doesn't own their house
=> imagine what will happen to them in your country: what care they can access, at what price, and under what conditions (+ social aid if possible)
Listen to the presentation of your classmates and fill in the table in order to find out what healthcare system is the best in the world.
