Lesson 1

Have a look at the three pictures below and find out the title of the unit 2 words 10 letters (KING ARTHUR).

Read the Unit Goals, the key question and the final task.

Do the worksheet:

Discuss it with your neighbour and report what they said to the rest of the class.

Now you will have to read a book throughout the unit and answer the questions given to you. Pay attention! 

Lesson 2

In your house, give yourself a number from 1 to 8.

Then each number will join their counterparts and watch the videos given to them. 

Mark down:

  • names
  • dates
  • places
  • elements from the legend
  • plot

Then return to your house and share your findings.

Lesson 3

In groups of 3, you will each have a different text to study. Try to fill in the table below as best as you can.

Once you have filled your part of the table, discuss your results with your classmates and try to explain what those documents are about and how they are related.

Watch the video below three times. Take notes and fill in the questions given to you at the end.

Lesson 5

In groups of 3, watch the video below and construct the timeline of the legend of King Arthur. It should have:

  • the names of the different authors
  • the names of the different titles
  • the dates 
  • new elements added for each work
  • main elements 
  • the reason those elements were added

Lesson 6 - Final Task

Each group will have to produce a poster which is going to take part in the exhibition in the school library. For each topic, you will have to :

  • present it
  • explain when it first appeared
  • how it evolved through the different works

To help you, you will receive additional documents. 

When you are finished, on a piece of paper, write 4 questions about your presentation and for each question, give 4 answers (3 false, 1 right + indicate the correct answer).
