Lesson 1

You will have to organise the two different lab benches following the need of the user. 

To do so, you will first receive cards with equipment pieces. Place them correctly on the bench. Once your teacher has approved, you will be given corresponding words. Try to match the words to the picture. Then do the other bench in the same way. 

Once you have done both benches, complete the worksheet.

Then in pairs or in groups of 3, choose three pieces of equipment and try to explain to your English what they are used for. 

Lesson 2

Have a look at the different cards and try to rebuild the text. 

Then, look for the vocabulary needed and fill in the table: 

-> to label, aseptic techniques, autoclave, to avoid contamination, efficiency.

In pairs, pick an action in French and mime it to your classmates, they have to find out the word in English from the word cloud below. 

Then, read the document and describe what you have to do to respect aseptic conditions.

Lesson 3

Match the techniques with the correct statement and give an example on whey you use it.

Now, here is a microscope. Place the word in its right place. 

Lesson 4

Now watch the video below without the sound. Explain what it is about. 

Imagine a scenario for a video in the same vein explaining to your English teacher how to do an experiment on your blob. Consider your teacher to be able to make your lab explode just breathing in it.
