Lesson 1

Then fill in the blanks in the text.
Read the Unit Goals, and find the problematic.
Then, think of a word that you know and which is connected to the unit. Come and write it on the board. With all the word on the board, create a mindmap and write a short paragraph of what you think you know about the topic using all the words written on the board.
To finish, listen to the audio below and build a timeline with the different informations.
Lesson 2
Divide yourselves in 9 groups of 3: 4 groups will be working on Webquest 1, 5 groups will be working on Webquest 2.

Read the informations on the website. Then do the crossword and the wordsearch and answer the questions on the worksheet.
Once you are done, check your answers below (ONLY WHEN YOU ARE DONE).
With all the informations gathered, create a presentation (Powerpoint, Prezi, Genial.ly) on the computer for the other groups to be able to do the quiz here.
Webquest 2

Read the informations on the website. Then do the two crosswords and answer the questions on the worksheet.
Once you are done, check your answers below (ONLY WHEN YOU ARE DONE).
With all the informations gathered, create a presentation (Powerpoint, Prezi, Genial.ly) on the computer for the other groups to be able to do the quiz here.
Exchange your presentations between groups and take notes on everything you've learnt. Hand back to your teacher a recap of all the informations you've gathered.
Lesson 3
Divide the class in 7 groups. In your group, give yourself a letter (A, B, C or D). All the As are going to start working together, all the Bs, all the Cs and all the Ds. You will all work on different parts of the same document and try to recap its information.
Your recap can be:
- a mindmap (no sentences)
- drawings
- a table
- key words (names, dates, events)
Your recap CANNOT BE:
- a full written summary!
You will also need to:
- create 3 or 4 questions with 4 possible answers (and only one will be correct) to give to your teacher at the end of the class.
Lesson 4
Present your findings to the rest of the class. Then play the Kahoot and answer the questions below.
Lesson 5
Watch the video below once without the sound. Try to figure out the topic of the video and as many details as you can.
Then watch it again with the sound on. Concentrate on the names and places during this listening. Then, on what happens and at last on the message.

Lesson 6 - Final Task
Have a look at those two websites (1) (2). What is the main idea behind the exhibition?
Imagine the different step you want to address in your exhibition. Then in groups, work on those topics, you will:
- create posters illustrating the different events/facts
- create a leaflet to explain those events/facts
=> Make it simple but clear so that it will educate people and encourage them to go see the exhibition and learn new things.
