Then form 5 groups. Give each other one number from 1 to 5. the teacher will appoint a runner and a secretary and you will have to write down a complete description of the picture in the time allocated.

Have a look at the infographic below and comment on it. Say when the hashtag was first used, most used and estimate the number of times it has been used since its creation.
Now, you will be given a sentence from a text. Read it and extract the important information. Then, ask your classmates for the rest of the information and take notes.

Choose 5 words describing Black Lives Matter. What do you know about it?
Then watch the video below.
Pick one word each to describe this video. Then, with all the words written on the board, write your own definition of Black Lives Matter, its fight, its goal, its hopes using all the words on the board.
Lesson 4
Have a look at the picture. Choose one word to describe it and write it on the board. Then, write a small paragraph using all the words.
Then, you will choose a topic and research it. You will have to produce an oral presentation for the rest of the class as well as prepare 4 questions with 4 possible answers one of which will be the correct one.

Lesson 5
Read the worksheet below and then have a look at the title of the video.
"MLK to BLM: The Internet and Civil Rights in 2017"
Then watch the video and fill in the worksheet as well as you can.
Then imagine a conversation between an older civil rights activist and a younger one.
Lesson 6:
Divide the class into three groups. Each group will receive a short text. Reconstruct the whole text and answer the questions on the worksheet. Then, check with the other groups if they have found the same answers.
Lesson 7 - Final Task
Create a Genial.ly presentation about a hashtag movement.
You need to:
- explain the context this hashtag was created in
- how this hashtag was created and what it represents or wishes to do
- if it was a success or not and why it worked or why it did not.
