Unit 2

Lesson 1

Have a look at the document below and figure out the title of the unit: (2 words, 14 letters) _ _ _ _ _ _   _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (LIVING TOGETHER)

In pairs, rephrase it in your own words. Then switch partners and bring your ideas together. Do it once more and then write them down on the board.

Once you know the title of the unit, read the Unit Goals and discuss what the problematic could be.

Watch the first part of the video below (until 1.22). Take notes of what you see. Then, give a word to your teacher to create a word cloud on the board.

  • What is the video about? Draw hypotheses.

Then, watch the rest of the video WITHOUT taking notes and in pairs, write a small paragraph using all the words on the board. Hand it in.

At home, have a look at the mind map on page 63 and find a title for each category. Repeat the words to improve your pronunciation.
